Dear Supporter and friends,
I would like to take the opportunity to invite you to our Sudanese independence day celebration on January 1st and 2ndof 2015. On January 1st there will be a speech by the Sudanese ambassador to Canada and other local officials from 6 pm to 8pm. We will have some refreshments before and after the speech. At 9pm we will begin the second part of our celebration by having the talented Sudanese artist MIDO who will perform from 9 pm to 12 midnight. All proceeds from the concert will go towards the new Sudanese Cultural Center ( Biytalsudan Culture of BC ). On January 2nd the celebration will continue from 11am to 5pm. The diversity of our country will be showcased by displays from all regions in Sudan. There will also be traditional Sudanese dances, drumming and food/drinks will be sold.
We are looking forward to you joining us in the celebration of our rich culture.
